As of 2024, need continuing education for license renewal process. Illinois RNs are required to complete at least 20 contact hours of approved continuing education each biennial renewal cycle period, including, but not limited to, the following mandatory courses:

*Implicit Bias – 1 hour
*Sexual Harassment Prevention – 1 hour
*Alzheimer’s Disease – 1 hour
