This service offers a recognition report for higher education degrees obtained from accredited universities outside the UAE. The report ensures that your qualification meets the standards set by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research (MOHESR) and aligns with international academic benchmarks. It is essential for employment, further education, visa applications, or other government-related purposes in the UAE.

The recognition process is divided into two stages:

Stage 1: Degree Verification

  1. Start the application: Begin by selecting one of MOHESR’s authorized partners, such as VFS global

  1. Log in and confirm details: Sign in with UAE Pass .Provide personal information and details about the degree you wish to verify.
  2. Upload documents: Submit the required academic records.
  3. Pay fees: The cost depends on the level of your qualification.
  4. Verification process: A specialist will review your application and contact your university for confirmation.
  5. Receive verification document: Once verified, you’ll get a reference number for the next stage.

Stage 2: Qualification Recognition

  1. Complete the application: Log in to the MOHESR portal using UAE Pass.
  2. Enter reference number: Use the number provided during Stage 1.
  3. Confirm details: Your personal and educational information will auto-fill.
  4. Pay fees: Fees are 100 AED (undergraduate), 150 AED (postgraduate), or 200 AED (doctorate).
  5. Receive recognition report: The report (Recognized/Not Recognized) will be emailed and available for download.

General Requirements

  • Your qualification must be genuine and issued by an accredited institution.
  • You must have met attendance and study duration requirements.

Required Documents

  1. Degree verification document: Obtain through QuadraBay, DataFlow, or a validated embassy/scholarship document.
  2. University degree/graduation certificate: Original or legalized copy.
  3. Transcript/research abstract: Official transcript for bachelor’s/diploma degrees; thesis abstract for graduate degrees.
  4. Translation: Documents not in English or Arabic must be legally translated.

Processing Time

  • Typically 20 working days, but delays may occur if further assessment is required or if the issuing institution responds late.

Reasons for Rejection

  • Insufficient evidence of degree authenticity.
  • Institution not recognized by MOHESR or accredited in the country of study.
  • Violation of recognition conditions.

Ensure all required documents and information are provided to avoid rejection without a refund.
