Simplified steps to become a nurse in UK

Minimum criteria needed:

1 . BSc or Diploma in Nursing qualification
2. Minimum of 1 year recent experience.

3. Nursing council valid registration where you practiced.

Application steps:

1. IELTS with minimum score of 7 in speaking, listening and reading and 6.5 in writing or OET with minimum grade of B in speaking, listening and reading and C+ in writing
2. Applicant will create online account and complete eligibility and qualification application. NMC will confirm eligibility for registration within 14 days
3. Pass CBT exam. Results are available 48 hours after taking the test
4. Attend Direct or Online Interview & Secure Job Offer.
5. Direct/Online interview arranged by UK employers. Secure job offer and complete pre-employment checks.
6. Employers assign the CoS once the CBT exam is cleared The sponsorship reference number on the CoS is used for the Tier 2 visa application
7. Applicant will submit their Tier 2 visa application and provide biometric application Visa is generally approved within 3 weeks
8. Applicant will submit their Tier 2 visa application and provide biometric application Visa is generally approved within 3 weeks
9. Pass OSCE. Results emailed within 5 working days from test date.
10. Submit health(medical fitness certificate), character(good conduct certificate) and language evidence(OET or IELTS score sheet). NMC will assess the application within 35 days.
11. Receive Registration Number from NMC (PIN).
