You must be familiar about term DED-Department of Economic Development.

To get approval from DED, we need following :

  • NOC (no objection certificate) from the opwner to assign medical director
  • A building contract
  • List of health care professionals who are going to work in yoru clinic
  • A valid passport copy
  • Visa copy

On an average DHA approval takes 2 months, some cases upto 1 year if documentations are not perfect.

Initial requirements needed:

  1. Lay out your plan before concerned authority
  2. Affection plan from Dubai municipality and a copy of trade name reservation letter from DED
  3. Dubai municipality approval fro your play out plan
  4. Proposal letters from partners if any
  5. Engineering lay out
  6. Facility proposal
  7. Trade license (DED)
  8. Commercial property use NOC in case location is classified as residential(if applicable).

Required Documents to set up a clinic in Dubai under Dubai Health Authority:

  • passport copies of all members, liek business partners, local sponsor adn medical director
  • A valid medical certification from DHA. In case you dont have medical degree then you must appoint a medical director for yoru business by showing their DHA license.
  • Residency visa page or tourist visa for all participating members. Visa page along with emirates id of all memebrs.
  • MOA signed by all teh expat partenrs and teh local sponsor
  • Trade name along with details of your business. Which all speciality you need to add liek dentistry, gp, obsterics, cosmetology etc
  • Professional license issued by DED
  • All clinic members must have valid dha license for drs, nurses, other departments , technicians etc.

New facility License under DHA:

Through this service, the facility can request to add add-ons which include: home healthcare, telehealth, 24 hour facility, pharmacy delivery, pharmacy drive-thru, clinical training service, mobile unit (depending on the facility category, different add-ons are permitted)

Required Documents

  • Owner/ Partners valid passport copies (and Emirates ID if applicable)
  • Engineering Layout from an engineering/design company
  • Prepare facility proposal to be filled in the application form
  • Trade license (if available)
