Abu Dhabi and Other Emirates:
- Visit the Ministry of Interior website and sign up using your Emirates ID or email ID. If your Emirates ID has expired, use your email ID.
- Click on E-service and select “Issuance of clear criminal record certificate.”
- Start the application by entering your Emirates ID number for verification.
- You will receive payment instructions.
- The total cost for applying for PCC will be 105.60 AED, including VAT.
- Once the transaction is completed, you can monitor the application status and will be notified through your email ID once it is done.
Dubai:
For Dubai Police Clearance Certificate, visit the Dubai Police website:
- Fill the application form by selecting the appropriate user type (resident, visitor, or outside UAE).
- Enter the certificate purpose (work, marriage, study, immigration, etc.).
- Enter the country/authority requesting the certificate.
- Attach the required documents, such as a photo, passport copy, etc. If you don’t have an Emirates ID, you will need a biometric card photocopy (which can be obtained from the police station).
- If you are applying from outside the country without an Emirates ID, attach fingerprints certified by the UAE Embassy.
- After attaching the documents, review the summary, and make the payment if all details are correct.

- Citizen: AED 100
- Resident: AED 200
- From outside the country: AED 300 or $88
- Additional fees for knowledge and innovation: AED 10 each
- Additional fee of AED 100 if applying through service centers in person

- Applications with legal obstacles are excluded from the expected duration of service.
- If there are effective restrictions in the criminal system against the applicant, such as reports of the accused or circulars, the certificate cannot be obtained.
