Dubai: Foreign nationals wishing to explore employment opportunities in the UAE can enter the country on a jobseeker visa without requiring a local sponsor or host, according to information highlighted by Dubai’s residency and immigration authorities.
The service, officially known as the “Visit Visa to Explore Job Opportunities,” allows eligible applicants to stay in the UAE while searching for employment.
Applicants can choose visas with a validity period of 60, 90 or 120 days, depending on their requirements.
However, applicants must satisfy the eligibility conditions specified by the authorities. According to the information provided, candidates should hold at least a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent educational qualification.
Documents required for the application include a passport valid for at least six months, a recent colour photograph with a white background, and an attested educational qualification certificate. Applicants may also be required to provide a security deposit or financial guarantee as part of the visa process.
Applications can be submitted through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) website or its smart application.
Applicants can log in using UAE Pass or their registered username, complete the required information, upload the necessary documents, pay the applicable fees and financial guarantee, and submit the application.
The service is also available through Amer Centres and GDRFA Customer Happiness Centres.
Authorities advise applicants to check the official GDRFA Dubai channels for the latest eligibility requirements, fees and application procedures before submitting their visa request.
