Process of DHA Eligibility Renewal or Re-Eligibility

Share Now..

Welcome to Nursing Manthra. Below is the updated process for renewing DHA eligibility. If your DHA eligibility has expired and you are still searching for a job, or if you have resigned from a DHA facility and wish to return to the UAE to work under DHA, you must renew your eligibility letter.

As per the DHA exam validity, it is valid for 5 years. So, within this 5-year period, you are eligible to renew your eligibility. However, it is crucial to ensure that you do not have a 2-year experience gap. Check your dataflow report for the experience duration, and if there is a gap of more than 2 years, you will need to do additional dataflow for the experience before applying for eligibility.

You may watch our video explaining about the process :

Documents Required for DHA Re-eligibility:

  1. Passport copy
  2. Passport-size photo
  3. Higher secondary certificate
  4. Valid Basic Life Support certificate
  5. Dataflow report
  6. Home country license initial copy and renewed copy
  7. Good standing certificate (Valid one)

Please note that if you have worked under DHA in the past, while applying for eligibility, you must obtain a good standing certificate from DHA. The cost for this certificate is 520 AED.

For others who haven’t worked under DHA, you need to obtain a good standing certificate from the last work-related licensing council.

The validity of the good standing certificate is typically 6 months from the issue date, but some professions or councils might provide validity for 3 months. Please check the validity mentioned in the certificate.
