Steps of Application Process under CDA:
- Process of Equalization:
- Equalization of Highest Academic Degree: If you hold a Master’s degree, you need to get it equalized by the Ministry of Education UAE (MOE). For Bachelor’s degree holders, the equalization is required for the bachelor’s degree. Check the MOE website for the application process and fees for equivalency certificates.
- Submitting Documents: Submit all required documents to the MOE for equivalency, including your thesis abstract for Master’s degree holders, higher secondary certificates, diploma or BSc certificates, and other relevant documents. The cost varies based on the type of certificate.
- Primary Source Verification (PSV):
- Gather Required Documents: To apply for CDA, prepare the following documents:
- Application form
- Letter of authorization (filled out and signed)
- Most recent resume
- Copy of your highest academic degree and academic record
- Copy of professional license (if applicable)
- Experience letters from the past three years
- Submitting Documents: Once you have received the result of your qualification equivalency and data flow report from the MOE, email all the required documents, including the positive data flow report, equivalency certificate, and any other necessary documents, to [email protected].
- Exam Process in CDA:
- Exam Schedule: Exams are conducted every three months at a British University in Dubai.
- Exam Notification: A CDA licensing representative will inform you of the exam date and provide preparation materials.
- License Issuance: After passing the exam, you will be issued a CDA license. Remember to renew this license every two years, with the option to apply for renewal two months before it expires.
Please note that specific requirements and processes may change over time, so it’s essential to verify the latest information from the official CDA website or relevant authorities before proceeding with the application process.
