For all Healthcare Professionals :
Nurses • Doctors • Pharmacists • Physiotherapists • Medical Technologists • Paramedical & Allied Health
Hai all, welcome to Nursing Manthra! My name is Shincy George.
If you are planning to work in Saudi Arabia, this short guide explains the latest 2026 SCFHS licensing pathway—from DataFlow/PSV to Mumaris+ registration, exam booking, job offer, QVP/visa, travel, Iqama, and final license activation.
1) What is SCFHS & Mumaris+?
SCFHS (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties) is the licensing authority in Saudi Arabia.
The official portal is Mumaris+.
Most applicants follow this flow:
- Professional Classification (can be done from outside Saudi)
- Exam / evaluation (if required)
- Professional Registration (practice inside Saudi; usually linked to legal residency)
✅ Registration validity is commonly 2 years (renewal needs CPD).
2) Required Documents (Quick Checklist)
Keep all files clear, color-scanned, and correctly named.
- Passport + recent photo
- Degree/Diploma certificate + transcript/mark sheets
- Internship / clinical training certificate (if applicable)
- Home-country professional license/registration + Good Standing / verification letter (as applicable)
- Experience certificate (as required for your title)
- Updated CV
- Secondary/Higher Secondary certificates (if requested)
- Logbook (for surgeons / surgical specialties)
Note: Requirements can change based on Saudi vs non-Saudi and your profession/category.

3) Important 2026 Updates You Must Know
A) Degree Authentication Rule (Outside Saudi)-QVP
- If classification is based on Bachelor only → Bachelor must be authenticated-qualification verification process-QVP
- If classification is based on postgraduate qualification → authenticate the higher degree (Bachelor may not be required in that specific case)
B) Exam Updates (SPLE / SMLE / SDLE)
- Exam duration shown in testing information: 4 hours 30 minutes
C) Remote Practice Exam
- Practice exams for SLE titles may be available via remote proctoring (ProProctor)
- Most professional exams are booked through Pearson VUE (after SCFHS eligibility)
D) Result Timelines (General Guidance)
- Many results appear within 7–10 working days (general)
- SLE titles may take 2–6 weeks (testing window-based)
- Practice exam score report often within 24 hours to email
E) HAYAD Service
- SCFHS introduced HAYAD for reviewing final decisions (applicable cases only)
4) Mumaris+ Step-by-Step (Short & Clear)
Step 1: Create Mumaris+ Account
- Sign up → verify email/OTP → complete profile
✅ Your name must match passport/ID (very important for exam day too).
Step 2: DataFlow / PSV (Education + License)
SCFHS focuses strongly on Primary Source Verification (PSV)—commonly called DataFlow.
✅ Usually education + license are verified first.
Step 3: Experience Upload (Important Tip)
In Mumaris+, you must upload experience. In many cases, SCFHS may not ask PSV for experience if your letter is perfect—but it can be requested case-by-case. Recently asking experience data flow reports.
Make your experience letter “SCFHS-ready”:
- Exact dates (start–end) + total duration
- Correct title/designation + department/unit
- HR signature + HR seal/stamp
- Facility letterhead
- Official email + phone number
- Short job description/duties (recommended)
Step 4: Submit Professional Classification
Apply for Professional Classification first.
If your qualification is not listed, you may need a Qualification Study before classification.
5) Exam Booking (Pearson VUE / Prometric)
✅ You don’t book exams randomly first. Usually:
SCFHS eligibility → then Pearson VUE login/authorization → then booking
Payment note (Pakistan & Lebanon): online card payment may not work; booking may require cash at test center (or use a voucher if available).
Reschedule: commonly allowed up to 2 days before the exam (check rules during booking).
6) After Passing: Registration → Job → QVP/Visa → Saudi → Iqama → Final Activation
After passing the exam/evaluation:
- Proceed for Professional Registration (linked to legal residency)
- Get job offer (private hospitals/medical groups + agencies are common)
- QVP (Qualification Verification Process) for visa
- Embassy attestation (if employer requires)
- Travel with work visa (often employer-sponsored)
- Employer arranges Iqama
- Update Mumaris+ profile as required → final license activation
7) Renewal (CPD/CME)
To renew SCFHS registration, you must complete CPD/CME hours.
(Example guidance often shown: technicians/nurses 20, specialists 40, doctors 60 — verify your category in Mumaris+.)
