HOW TO APPLY FOR POLICE CLEARENCE CERTIFICATE FOR DUBAI, ABUDHABI AND OTHER EMIRATES:

To obtain a police clearance certificate from UAE is very important for the people who worked in UAE and other residents, visitors for various reasons.

Abudhabi and other Emirates:
You have to visit ministry of Interior website and signup by using your emirates id or mail id. If emirates ID expired use your mail id.

After login to portal -From E services section you can select Issuance of clear criminal record certifictae.
You can Start application by enter your emirates id number (even expired also) for verification.
You will get payemnt instructions.
The total cost will be 105.60aed including vat to apply for pcc
Once made transaction, you can monitor application status by click on application status. You will be notified through mail id once it is done.
Dubai : Dubai Police Clearence Certificate:
In some authority they will ask you to provide PCC from Dubai. If you stayed in Dubai. Dubai police clearance certificate is used for the following purposes. Services provided in official authorities for work, studies, immigration, obtaining license, purchasing properties, etc.

Steps of process:
· Fill the application form:
· User type -select your appropriate type- as resident, visitor or outside Uae
· Enter Certificate purpose -whether it is for purpose of work, marriage, study or immigration etc.
· Enter the country/authority who is requesting for certificate.
· Next attach the documents -like photo,passport copy etc. If you don’t have emirates id then you have to get biometric card photocopy(which has to take from police station).
· Applicants without an Emirates ID and in Dubai, should visit police service centers during working hours to take fingerprints (Al Qusais Police Station or Ports Police Station)
· After attaching docuemnts check for summary, if all detaisl are correct then make payment.

From outside the country AED 320
Remarks:
Applications with legal obstacles are excluded from the expected duration of service
In case of effective restrictions in the criminal system against the applicant, such as reports of the accused or circulars, the applicant will not be able to obtain the certificate
Customers can submit application without the need of being pre-registered in digital channels
There was one incident happened to my friend. She was here in uae until 2017. Some credit card sisue was there , and she closed all credit card liabilities in 2019. And she got l;etter from both banks also,.Like clearence certifictae nad informed that they will inform to police department also. After that from 2019 to until now she is in India. For her newzealnad migration process applied for pcc from dubai. Her certificate was not recieveing and asking to meet criminal department in dubai. It was not poassible to come to uae for her this time due to some personal issues. There is no comments on what is her case , what is the problem.. When checking both banks they are saying already we notified in 2019 itself.
Again with great difficulty only tried to solve issue and finally we got her pcc .
So always make sure that if you have bank loans or credit card liabilities pending please clear with bank as well as make sure that no cases under you in UAE.
It will be very trouble to solve this as she is only waiting for this PCC to complete visa process to newzeland.
