Requirements for Registration with CPCM (Complete Checklist)

You must submit:

1) Application Form

2) Required Documents

All documents must be in English OR provided with Certified Translations:

(a) Identification Document

Passport / national ID (clear copy)

(b) Recent Police Conduct Certificate

Must be recent (keep it updated at the time of submission)

(c) Professional Qualification

Degree/diploma certificate(s) related to radiography

(d) Professional Portfolio / Academic Portfolio + Practical Training Proof
You must provide documents showing:

Your Professional Portfolio and/or
Your Portfolio of Academic Studies and Practical Training
…and it must relate to:
The profession
The professional syllabus completed by your institution

(e) Certificate of Good Standing (or Alternative Declaration)
You must provide either:

A Certificate of Good Standing from the council/authority you are registered with
OR, if your profession is not regulated in that Member State (so a good standing certificate cannot be issued), then:
A declaration on oath / solemn declaration stating you are not registered with a council because the profession is not regulated there
- This must be done before a competent judicial/administrative authority, or a notary, or a qualified professional body in your home Member State
- The authority/notary must issue a certificate confirming authenticity of your declaration

(f) English or Maltese Language Proficiency
You must meet one accepted English test requirement (details below).

(g) MQRIC Letter

Institution name, ECTS credits, and EQF level,
OR
Your qualification has not yet been recognised by Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC),
then you must submit a letter from MQRIC confirming your qualification level according to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).

English Language Requirement (Accepted Exams + Minimum Scores)

- They must authenticate, sign, and include their stamp and seal

Translation Rules (If Your Documents Are Not in English)

Translations must be done by an official translator authorized by the state
The Council will need both:
- the original document, and
- the translated English version

Step 1: Prepare Your Documents

Your portfolio/training proof is detailed and matches your syllabus

Step 2: Arrange Good Standing / Declaration

Get Good Standing from your council/authority
OR
If your profession isn’t regulated, prepare the oath/solemn declaration through the proper authority/notary

Step 3: Meet Language Requirement

Choose one accepted exam and ensure you meet:

Overall scores and component minimums (IELTS/OET/TOEFL writing requirement)

Step 4: Get MQRIC Letter (If Needed)
