Description
Description
NursingManthra’s NHRA Bahrain General Dentist Prometric Exam Review Material is prepared for dentists planning to undergo the dental licensing assessment regulated by the National Health Regulatory Authority – Bahrain (NHRA).
Dentist Eligibility – Bahrain
NHRA requires a recognised Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry/Dental Surgery or equivalent qualification from an accredited and recognised institution. Academic qualifications are individually evaluated by NHRA. All dentists are also required to complete a 12-month post-graduation internship covering major dental disciplines.
Candidates are normally required to hold appropriate professional registration/licensure and provide evidence of the required professional experience applicable to the licence category. For non-Bahraini applicants, NHRA requires fulfilment of the applicable post-qualification experience before licensing.
Because NHRA assigns licensing categories according to the applicant’s education, nationality, training and experience, candidates should obtain their NHRA eligibility/classification before assuming the final licensing title.
Bahrain Dental Licensure Examination
NHRA currently requires certain dental practitioners to pass the Bahrain licensure examination before a licence can be issued.
Official Prometric information states:
- Format: Computer-based licensing examination
- Actual examination time: 2½ hours
- Total appointment/seating time: approximately 3 hours
- Passing grade: 60%
- Eligibility number validity: up to four months
- Attempts: NHRA provides a defined attempt/retraining framework.
NHRA’s public Prometric page does not currently state a fixed General Dentist question count, so candidates should follow the number shown in their current examination authorization rather than relying on older unofficial figures.
