NMC Hospital Abu Dhabi is seeking a professional and reliable Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of homecare staff to various locations across the UAE, as well as assisting with facility-related errands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and efficient transportation for homecare staff to scheduled appointments throughout the UAE.
- Ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs, maintaining a strict schedule to avoid delays.
- Execute various purchases and errands for the facility as directed.
- Remain accessible via mobile phone at all times while on duty and be available for on-call emergencies.
- Channel all transport-related calls and requests through the Facilities Admin Assistant.
- Promptly report any preventative or required vehicle maintenance to the fleet coordinator and admin assistant.
- Inform Facilities Administration immediately of any issues encountered while on duty (e.g., accidents, delays, timing changes, duty reporting).
- Ensure the company vehicle is consistently well-maintained, clean, and in proper working order.
- Strictly enforce a no-smoking policy within the vehicle.
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation rules and regulations.
- Assist with moving and carrying items within the office and accommodation as needed.
- Provide support to the Facilities Department on any other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
- A minimum of 2 years of driving experience in the GCC region (5 years preferred).
- Possession of a valid UAE driver’s license (manual or large vehicle license required).
- Fluent in both English and Arabic.
