Community Development Authority(CDA) licensing process for health care professionals:

Professionals benefit from this service:

1. Social worker:Bachelor degree in social work
2. Social counselor:Masters in counselling or psychology or education with specialization in counselling.
3. Social therapist:Behavior Analyst: Msc psychology or Education with behaviour analysis specialization , Bsc psychology or education or nursing with applied behavior analysis programme.
   Assistant behavioral analyst
   Psychologist: Msc in various fields of psychology
   Assistant psychologist:BSC psychology(can work under supervision of a licensed psychologist)
4. Special Education: Special Education teacher, learning support teacher.
   : Masters in special education or BSC degree in special education with minimum 5 years experience in the field.

Steps of application process under CDA:

1. Process of Equalization and PSV -Primary source verification prior to submitting application to CDA licensing department must be fulfilled.
A. Equalization of your highest Academic degree  from Ministry of Education, UAE. 
Higher secondary certificate, Diploma, Bachelor degree–100Aed each
MS, Pg. certificates—150Aed
PhD—200Aed

B. PSV -primary source verification of Documents of Qualifications and Work experience through Dataflow Agency.
Documents required for PSV Application:
-CDA application form
-LOA-letter of Authorization copy duly filled and signed
-Resume
-Copy of highest academic Degree
-Professional license , copy if available
-Experience letter (last 3 year)

2. Once receive results from MOE and Dataflow compile the remaining documents listed below send to : [email protected]
   -CDA licensure application form
   -Passport size photograph
   -EID
   -Resume
   -Attested degree and transcript
   -Equalization Report by MOE
   -Letter of Experience
   -Good Conduct Certificate issued by Dubai police(if resident of Dubai) or from Police department of respective Emirates
   -Good standing certificate from country of residence (If residency less than 6 month in Dubai)
   -Dataflow verification positive Report

3.EXAM PROCESS: 
Examination held every 3 months at British University of Dubai. You will be contacted by a CDA licensing representative to inform you the exam date and preparation materials.
After completion of Exam -you will get License issued
License Renewal–Every 2 year -2 months prior to expiry.
